Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology’s Ideal Org on Váci Road.

Inaugurated ten years ago, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a eu news religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.

Since opening its doors, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
